Friends

You may still have friends from your childhood, or new friends that you have made from college or your workplace. When does friendship between two adults of the opposite sex, become more?
Is it ok to cross the line and become more? Will it ruin the friendship?

Drug Abuse

The drug epidemic in this country is growing rapidly everyday. I was watching Dr. Drew today , and his show was about celebrities and drug rehabs . He said in California there are over 500 lavish centers for their recoveries. They pay thousands of dollars to stay in these centers and most do not take their recovery seriously, and once released they are back using, because the drugs are to available to celebrities everywhere. You dont have to be rich and famous to have access to drugs, they are all over this country. Our children have more access today than my generation did. I have never used drugs personally, but I was touched be the abuse from a loved one that used, and it changed me as a person. It is something I will never understand.

Homeless in America

Today, more and more Americans are becoming homeless. There is a real need in this country for more services to the homeless. I see women ,men and families standing by the road sides holding signs, (will work for food) this is very sad. I believe that our government should have "bailed" out the Americans people and not the large companies. So many people have lost everything from the economic crisis or through devastating storms, and ended up homeless. My heart breaks for our fellow Americans. Everyone of us are steps away from being in this situation. What would you do if you were homeless today? The world is a scary place, and everyone is out for number one. Why is it people walk by the homeless and are not willing (if able) to help someone. These Americans are someones sister, brother, mother, or father. I have experienced being homeless,some years back and its part of my story in my book( I'm just an Average woman). Its my belief, that we focus upon ourselves to much, and turn our backs on others who really need help. Help someone today, tomorrow maybe to late. Happy Day!!!!

I have been in Tampa for almost 2 weeks now. I love the tropical weather here, and the Floridians are great. There is so much to do here. You can fish in the bay, sunbath at the local Picnic park, or try your luck at the slot machines at Hard rock Casino & Hotel. You can go to Busch Gardens or the Aquarium. The best Italian food I have found here is at Luigi's , the best local seafood is at Joe's crab shack, and the best mexican is at Estella's. Orlando is about an hours drive from here off of I-4. Of course there you have Disney world, Universal, sea world and so much more.
